Material spills are a frequent effect in any mining and industrials facilities, especially when said material must be transported by belts or conveyor belts.

Mining and current industry regulations require the remediation of these spills in the shortest possible time, without contaminating the environment and complying with occupational health and safety regulations.

Currently, in most facilities, this work is carried out by hand with brigades of personnel equipped with brooms, shovels and wheelbarrows. Said personnel are exposed to direct contamination with the material and additionally, when removing it mechanically, it spreads throughout the environment. The speed of collecting the material in these circumstances is minimal and the capacity to collect all the material is very low. The material that is constantly spilled by the conveyor belts and that remains between the idlers and the belt, normally cannot be extracted, and with it the wear of the idlers is very high.
